The hours past slowly, it had been almost five hours since John had been on the bridge, and he thought it was time to check in, see how things where going. He exited his quaters, and began to walk down the corridors with great haste, the corridors where no longer filled with engineering teams. John stoped to ask one of the men working at a near by console on the wall how the upgrades to the ships systems where going.
"Its about 93 94% done sir" he repplied.
John nodded and continued on his way, he steped on to the turbolift, "Deck one, bridge" he said, and the turbolift gracefully glided to the desired destination. steping off once more he immediaty said something to Cyklus.
"Status report" John asked.

Suddenly a slight shake and klaxons sounded, as captain fletcher was getting ready for duties an Engineer who was fixing the last of the installments into the bridge came over ther com,
" Bridge to Captain Fletcher, Report immediately!"
He jumped up and ran for the turbolift. fixing his uniform on the turbo lift as it climed to the bridge. The doors flew open and the Captain said to the Engineer,
"whats going on, i want a full update"
the engineer replied,
" Starbase sierra has issued orders to all vessels to leave dock and accumilate outside the base, reports of the klingon fleet have been sighted by a unattached task forces Recon. seems the pirates are back and oh sir, all systems are installed"
with relief the captain replied,
" thank you leutenant Commander, if you'd like to return to SB sierra ill hand you over to your chief"
" sir what do you think of this?"
the engineers disappeared sharply and all was quiet,
" computer, red alert"

The Captain puzzled walked to the flight control system and waited for orders

"Well its a good job I came up then isnt it captain" John repllied sarcasticly.
"Fletcher, take us out" John ordered, as Cyklus began to hean towards the conn. As he reached it, Scofield and Solaris arrived on the bridge in unison, they headed for the tactical station, "Commander, keep tags on our visitors" John said.
The ship glided out of dock, and assembled with the rest of the fleet, "The fleet is pirate" Scofield comfirmed, "Hail the lead ship" John ordered.

" taking out at impulse sir"
the ship moved like poetry, reversing and then moving forward toward the masssive dock doors. the fleet massing nearby she slowly joined the others. the ship was hailed but no response.

the ships were attacking the klingons smashing them into oblivion, Scofield and jeniffer co-ordinating attacks with othe ships the threat was soon delt with and had quietened down.
a scanner began to blip, leutenant commander scofield said,
"sir a destress signal been activated. its a federation signiture"

The battle raged, "Bloody Pirates!" he heard an officer shout. It was soon delt with and under control, thankfully the serenity hadnt suffered much damage.
"Damage report" John barked.
"Nothing major to report sir, a small hull breech on deck 7 through to 9, besides that where fine" reported the ops officer.
"Sir, we are reciving a distress call, from a planet on the outer limits off federation space" Scofield shouted.
"Lay in a course Captain, warp 7.5" John paused a few moments, "Engage"
